RESEARCH

Fish research is a branch of zoology known as ichthyology. Scientists who specifically study fish are called ichthyologists.
GROUPS OF FISH

                There are three distinct groups of fish that ichthyologists study: bony fish, cartilaginous fish, and jawless fish. Ichthyology has a long history that began with simple observations and descriptions of fish over 200 years. The first known recorded observations of fish were documented by Pierre Belon in the 1500’s. In the early 1700’s, Peter Artedi’s, who some consider to be the Father of Ichthyology, had his work chthyologia” posthumously published by Karl Linnaeus. At that time, Artedi recognized 230 species of fish. Today, we recognize approximately 31,900 species. There are approximately 31,900 species of known fish according to FishBase, a website that provides data about all
known fish. FishBase is run by a consortium that is made up of an international group of organizations, universities, and museums from countries around the world: Greece, China, Canada, Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, Sweden, and Malaysia. Additional ichthyologic research is conducted through various universities and institutions around the world that continue to add to the body of knowledge about fish. This knowledge plays an important role in the future of one of the largest ecosystems in the world: the ocean.

Fish is a significant source of protein for millions of people in the world. Human population growth has placed a significant demand on fish as a food source. It is estimated that approximately 25 percent of all protein consumed by people comes from fish. For some developing nations fish provides a large percentage of protein for its own people as well as a source of income as an export product. Fish research has become an increasingly important study as fish populations decline throughout the world. The decline of fish has an immense impact on ocean ecosystems as well as a significant impact on one of the primary food sources for people around the world. Overfishing in the past 50 years has significantly reduced fish populations across a large number of species. Research in ichthyology helps policy makers determine what course of action to take in order to maintain fish populations throughout the world. National and international policies are determined based on the data provided by fish research.

NOTE; According to our policy, we are not “allowed / permitted” to disclose peoples business or written feasibility study, “to anyone”, irrespective of their personality.

BUT, WE are permitted to display executive summary,

And these are some executive summary of some feasibility study carried out.
1st sample;
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Feasibility study on catfish farming business, using two plot of land of 100ft by 100ft, in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, as a case study.
                Agbarho traditional rulership has been by the 'Osuivie' who rules with an advisory body comprising traditional chiefs from whom the chronologically foremost in the chieftaincy institution succeeds the Osuivie. There is also an administrative body known as Agbarho Urhobo Improvement Union (AUIU) which has the responsibility of development and policy making.
Farming business is a lucrative business and also an important sector of the economy that can provide significant, economic, and social impact which will affect the general public positively, both in food provision, skill acquisition, employment opportunities and many more…..
After carrying out the feasibility study on Agbarho community, it was discovered that farming generally will do well both on crop and animal production.
For catfish farming business, there is good market for them since there are big markets in Ughelli sourth ,agbarho, effurun, warri areas, nearby towns with many dispatch outlets like; hotels, spotlights, bars, bakeries, event planners, families all around.
Investing twenty one million, forty two thousand, one hundred and thirty five naira (N21, 042,135(÷ 160) →$132,000) on catfish farming business on 2plots of land is a very lucrative one. Using profitability index to determine how lucrative the business is, we got a viable result of 1.21% returns on business in the fifth year. That tells us that, after the fifth year, the business will break-even and your profit projection will emerge. (That means; the business as been able to pay back its initial investment and still have enough money to run its affairs successfully without any help from any source).
                2nd sample;
