The cottontail rabbit is found practically everywhere in Missouri where habitat needs are met. Supplying food and cover for rabbits is relatively simple, and the rabbit, with its rapid reproduction, responds readily.

Snails can be found in many habitats and can sometimes be pests not only in our landscapes,  But can be highly detrimental to plants in production. In Nigeria there are numerous native and newly imported snail species. Most land snails are not pests. They feed on algae and fungi, a few are predatory. Some tree snails are considered endangered and are protected. However, there are several species that are pests and require management, but  it is imperative that the snail is identified as a pest before treatments are initiated.

Once you've bought your pigs you'll need to get them home. Although young pigs are small, bear in mind that they can be strong, boisterous, produce extremely smelly dung and don't have any obvious "handles". They also make an incredible amount of noise - an ear-splitting shriek - when being handled. Fortunately,  they turn it off as soon as you put them down. 

Observations at packing plants indicate that some lines of hybrid pigs have a very nervous temperament and others are calm. Some pigs are easy to drive up chutes and others are nervous and constantly balk and back up. Certain lines of lean pigs, which contain the stress gene, tend to be more nervous and excitable than lean lines without the stress gene. 

The tendency of the average Nigerian investor is to set up a business on a foundation beyond his experience because he sees others doing it. He starts a poultry farm as a large investment of capital and stock which will require immense amounts of energy and funds to maintain which may be beyond his capability.
